Cherry Republic celebrates Michigan’s Montmorency Tart Cherry by using it to create more than 200 products. From salsas to BBQ sauces to jams, ice cream toppings, chocolate-covered cherries, and more, they make it!
The company first opened its doors in Glen Arbor, Michigan in 1989 and has been expanding ever since. They now have six different locations in Michigan and provide many of their products wholesale to markets like ours.
We not only love their products but the values their company holds. Since 1989, Cherry Republic has donated $2 million dollars to nonprofits that positively impact the environment and communities throughout the state of Michigan.
Cherry Republic’s president, Bob Sutherland, believes in giving back to his community, creating a fun work environment for his employees, protecting Michigan’s lakeshores, and supporting local cherry farmers.
